Ally Standing is a Birmingham-based visual artist and writer, with a psychogeographic, interdisciplinary practice, exploring ideas surrounding the built environment. Post-war architecture, postmodern space, and public art are some of her main areas of interest.

Ally also lectures in Contextual Studies at Birmingham City University's School of Visual Communication.
